Milk - continue formula or switch to cow's milk

According to our pediatrician now that DD is one we can switch her to whole milk or keep giving her formula. 

We could continue the same formula, or we could change to Enfamil 2 (for children from 10 to 36 months.)

What did you do?

    At 12 months our pedi said switch to whole milk, so that's what we did. Continuing formula was not even mentioned.

    my DD is allergic to milk =( so we were told to switch to almond or soy milk. She's tried both.... and liked both.

    switched both kids to whole cow milk at about 10.5 months...  I couldn't wait to throw that last empty can of formula in the trash!  I was so sick of mixing powder.

    We finished off the formula we had at home and switched to milk.  We did incorporate it in with the formula (switching off each bottle) for a week or so.

    We give him whole milk, but our pedi said we could also do 2%.  He said there isn't enough difference in Whole and 2% to matter.  Our daycare provides 2%, but we send whole.  I'm probabaly going to start letting him drink the 2% there but give him whole at home.

    I didn't do formula but we introduced cow's milk just before a year when I stopped pumping.
    My big boy is bounding towards 4! Baby brother coming in October!

    At one year we switched to milk.  Our Pedi said any milk as long as it wasn't skim, so rather than buy 2 different kinds, we do a 2% for everyone.

    I wanted to continue the formula (stage2) until DS was 18 months old. The pedi said it was our choice once DS reach 1yr to either do the stage 2 or switch. Today is DS's 15month bday and we just started the weaning off of formula. We are replacing 1 oz formula per serving with 1 oz of organic whole milk until it's all milk The conversion will take us to his 17monthbday I believe since we were upping the milk ration every weeks a couple of days

    Whole milk was much cheaper - we dropped off formula at the 1 year door!
