post c/s pain?

I had dd on March 9, almost two weeks ago, and im having kind of a strange pain in my abdomen.  i've been wearing the binder since the surgery with breaks after my shower (i need the support)and i've noticed that Im tender in one spot to the lower left of my belly button.  the skin is tender to the touch, but not warm or swollen, and i can feel it's tender inside.  I am also still experiencing some pain when i try to stand up straight wtihout the binder...  is this all to be expected or should i call the doctor?  i'm only taking motrin and only as needed, not scheduled around the clock anymore...

    The same thing happened to me. At one point I had such severe pain that I called the after hours line because I thought something was wrong - they said it was probably a clot passing or something like that.

    I won't say that you don't need to call your doctor, but I did end up being ok. Sorry you're still in pain and I hope it goes away soon!

    I'm not sure what's "typical" (everyone heals at different rates), but I still had pain at 5 weeks.  At 2 weeks postpartum, I had pain internally as well as on the surface of the skin.  A c-section is major surgery, and it takes the body a while to bounce back.
