Naming Challenge....

Are you ladies up for it???

DH and I are TTC, so we have been having fun tossing around name ideas for our future LO. We don't agree on much, so I need more ideas.

Here is my long list of stipulations:

  1. Cannot start or end with the letter, or sound of "S"
  2. Cannot end in a "K" or with an "ek" sound. i.e. Marek is out.
  3. The further down the SSA list, the better. Nothing overly popular.
  4. Cannot be trendy. Nothing with Mc,rhymes with Aiden, no superflous y's, etc.
  5. I do not like surnames as first names.
  6. For various reasons, the following names are out: Sophia, Gabriella, Mason, Gabriel,Erica, Maya, Ella, Avery, Lucy, Ethan, Hailey, Miles, Abigail, Rebecca, Alicia, Annika.

I don't really have a "style", I am open to anything that fits the criteria above!  I love some old-fashioned names, some classic names, some unique names, and some ethnic names, so give me what you've got!

    My little girl's name is Jana. Although an episode of the Duggars decided it, that isn't where it came from. Means God is Gracious. Not overly popular, pretty classic.

    Wow, you guys are good! Thanks so much....generating a list as we speak!  I also love the names of your DD's. :)  There are some classic, some unique, etc., but all of them are beautiful!  Good work momma's! :)
