Hoping for another wee one soon and if it happens, we'll need a double stroller. We're looking for compact, not side-by-side and right now I'm leaning towards a Phil and Ted's.
What do you have? What do you love/hate about it? Would you pick a different stroller if you did it all over again?

Re: Mom's of 2+ - Double Strollers
My Blog
I'd love to hear why, especially if you've experienced both. I know I don't want a traditional tandem, far too cumbersome, which is why I was looking at the Phil and Teds. But I'd love to hear why you love the side-by-side.
On a similar note, I also said I would never own a minivan but the guy at the dealership nearly has me convinced to buy one.
Well, in that case...:) I love my side-by-side...I have a BOB duallie. I would not call it compact. However, this is why I chose it:
I had a Graco Duoglider, and it was essentially unusable for me. It is incredibly cumbersome, hugely difficult to steer, and although it is skinny, it is still huge. Now that my girls are approaching twenty pounds, it is SO hard to push. I broke down and bought the duallie, and have never looked back. It is so incredibly maneuverable. It steers amazingly well, and you could push the thing with one finger. If you are looking for a stroller that you can use for an extended period of time, than I would look at something like the Bumbleride, BOB, or City Mini (for compact). If you have a minivan to transport it, maybe being compact isn't as important? I don't know, obviously.
The side by side is much preferred by my girls, too. They hated being in the back bc they couldn't see out. I love my BOB
In the future, I foresee fewer arguments about who's in front and who's in back, too.
I have the Maclaren Double Triumph side by side and have to say that I loved it, although I didn't use it for very long. It folds super small and is pretty light for a double. It looks nice too.
A few months ago, my DS outgrew it and we now have a Joovy Caboose Ultralight and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I've read that you can put a toddler in the front and an infant in a carrier in the back and then switch and use it as a sit and stand when the older child gets big enough, which is how I use it now and its perfect.
Something to think about if you don't want to find yourself buying another stroller shortly down the line.
