DD had her 1 year check up today (day before her birthday) and she couldn't get her shots. I guess the schools have a rule and when it comes time to start school she'd be considered behind if she would have got them today. Her dr. was explaining when this happened it caused all kinds of trouble because kids had to get the shots again in order to start school. Now I have to bring her in next week to get them, which isn't a big deal, I just had no idea. Usually their staff will catch that but I rescheduled her appt.
Just thought I'd share (not sure if its the same regulations everywhere), don't bring LO in for an earlier appt. if shots are due.

I didn't even think of that. Hopefully we won't have any problems. I didn't think scheduling it one day early would be a big deal, lesson learned.
We asked our Pedi about her 1 year shots. We're moving just as she's turning 11 months. When we talked to him about it he said he could give her all but her MMR shot before her 1 year d birthday. He said if it's given before her 1 year then it won't count. Any other shot didn't matter for the timing, just the MMR. So now she'll get her MMR from her new Australian doctor.
