  No family names that I like to go with it in particular.  Not sure what you mean about what kind of name it is.  According to this one site it has no particular meaning but is probably off of Imari.

  The only other time I've heard that name is for Amar'e Stoudemire (NY Knicks) I wiki'd him. His middle name is Carsares. I'm sure anything you pick will be better than that!

  I think it's a variation of Omari:

  The meaning of the name Omari is Speaker, Chief

  The origin of the name Omari is Hebrew

  Notes: From the Hebrew Omar or Omri. Also means "God is exalted" in Swahili

  Thats what me and my husband are naming this baby ( boy #3) and as a middle name we chose Gabriel. So what about that or Joshua or MIchael or even no middle name at all.
