Now I can get dh on board...
They are now saying to move your child forward facing at 2 years!
Dh always argues this with me, but now I can say it's what is officially recommended. Maybe I should send that to my doctor too (She argued with me that I HAD to change T around at 1 year- only helping dh's argument)
Re: YAY! New recommendations for carseats!
Cool right? We kept DS RF until 18 months or so, but I will stick to my guns next time around and wait till 2. We got lots of odd looks and questions about it too.
(edit: my SN is being weird again, and making me a "new account"...it's livalil319)
Here's what's weird, cloth diapering is helping me on so many fronts including this one. Everyone was skeptical about us being able to stick with cding, how good it would be for the kid, etc. Now that we've been doing it with little to no problems everyone is like, "Hey, she must know what she's doing."
The attitude has carried over into not giving solids until 6 months, and extended rear facing. Every time I mention it people say, "Oh really? I didn't realize that..." and I don't get any flack. :oD
