alright ladies help me out (diaper rash)

My little boy is cutting his first 2 teeth and lately he has had a fever, diarrhea, runny nose....well the fever is gone the runny nose is pretty much cleared up but he has had 6 bm a day if not more...it is like acid on his little bum...his diaper rash just will not go away.. i ahve done butt paste, desitin, metamucil and aquaphor, naked bum and antibiotic cream. it will heal almost all the way over night but then come back after all the bms throughout the day...anyone else have this proble or know a good remedy they have tried? thanks

    Maybe a few little baths throughout the day and lots of naked time?  Also, are you still feeding him a normal diet?  When we went through this about a month and a half ago MIL suggested the BRAT diet, bland foods so that it would help with the diarreah.  Also using baby powder to help keep it dry instead of moist.

    try corona,no not the beer, its a cream for cow utters. if you have a farm & fleet or fleet farm by you then thats where you can find it, if not, I am sure any farming store would have it.

    he doesnt have a yeast rash does he? if you google pics (they are gross) you can tell really easily and just get some lotrimin and use that a few times a day. i use that, with a+d over it, then some corn starch powder. if its just a regular rash i use a+d and the powder. if its all blistery i would have the pedi check it out though. gl!

    DD had the same thing when cutting her teeth, turned out it was a yeast infection. Anytime desitin doesn't work within a week, its a fungus. The dr gave her a anti-inflamitory and lotrimin (the jock itch, foot  anti-fungus stuff that's over the counter). We used it 2X a day a light coverage with vasaline over it for 2 weeks and it went away.

    The biggest telltale of a yeast infection vs diaper rash is if there is any additional red spots not attached to the main redness.
