One of my coworkers is reading what she has told me is a "trashback" and she just called me over there to ask how I would pronounce this person's name.

It cracks me up for some reason that the maid's name in this book is conception. My coworker is going to refer to her as Sarah while reading, haha.

Is it a hispanic name? It's probably Cone-sep-see-own. The name is actually a reference to the Virgin Mary.
I had a professor whose name was Purificacion. She went by Puri.

I am sure it is supposed to be a hispanic name. I also told her it was probably con-cep-see-own after we had our little immature giggle about it.
Purificacion is funny too. Why I find this so humorous today, I am not so sure.
