Pregnant after IF

Are any of you ladies

having nightmares? I have been having the most horrible nightmares lately and I hate it. Crying

I was wondering how you cope? I go to the Dr. tomorrow so I'll probably ask him, as I'm sure there really isn't anything that you can do about them, but I was hoping that I'm not alone.

  • I've heard that those are common during pregnancy, probably related to the stress and anxiety pregnancy causes.  I have not had many myself (maybe 1 or 2?) but I do tend to have bizarre, vivid dreams lately, whereas I never really did before.

  • Some bad dreams here but mostly weird, strange stuff.  Apparently my mind is full of idle thoughts!

  • I usually dream very detailed vivid dreams -- usually weird or nonsensical, sometimes nice (or naughty!), very rarely bad dreams.  I've only had one baby-related nightmare that I forgot to feed/change/anything my newborn baby for days.  Like I completely forgot we had a baby.  Obviously this is just playing on my fears of failing as a new mom.  I try to just brush it off.

Last night I was working at the Oscars, and was sent by Keith Urban to get Tom Cruise some scotch.  He looked really upset, and was sitting at a table with Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman.  Katie had just left him.  Such odd dreams I have.  lol

  • I've been having the weird, vivid, crazy dreams for awhile now. But, the nightmares just started about a week ago. At first they weren't pregnancy related, but I had a pregnancy related one over the weekend and I have to say it's left me terrified.

  • Yes, nightmares and anxiety dreams. I've always had them but they e gotten more frequent since getting pg. I hope they stop for you soon!

  • I'm having an occastional nightmare with mostly super vivid crazy dreams.  I just chalk it up to being pg.  I don't know what to do except to try to think sweet thoughts before going to sleep and attempting some sort of bedtime relaxation routine?

Hope your nightmares turn into dreams soon!

  • I have been having really crazy dreams where the baby is trying to push out of my stomach, through my stomach! Like pressing her face, hands and feet out through my skin...they're so vivid they're nightmares for me!
