This short movie maintains that breastmilk is the best thing for your baby, BUT does state that toxins bio-accumulate at the top of the food chain...in human breastmilk.  Scary, but a lot of posters here are taking steps to minimize their exposure to toxins by avoiding conventional cleaning products, make-up, organic food etc, etc, when possible.

Heck, the fact that we aren't throwing tons of disposable diapers - and therefore dioxins, human waste, and other nasites - into landfills that leach into our ground water is a huge help.  If only everyone did it!

    I like that video.  I think it's interesting that even among those of us who are trying to do better, a lot of the focus is on what can I buy that is green(er)?  As a society, consumption is our solution to everything.
