14 wks.. having severe camping and occasional bleeding

Im 14 wks today and for the last two wks i have had severe cramping, to the point i curl in a ball and about cry, and occasional spotting. Ive been to the doctor twice and they still cant figure out whats wrong with me.. im so confused, any ideas or comments would be helpful..

    Have they done an ultrasound to confirm that it's not an ectopic pregnancy?

    Ive will have my fourth ultrasound this thursday, they have been sending me in every week for an ultrasound to be on the safe side.. But everything is normal, baby was sucking its thumb in the last one, heartbeat was good.

    It might be a cervical polyp that causes the ocassional bleeding. I mean that's what I had/have was diagnosed at 19 weeks, but started bleeding at 16 weeks. They weren't sure what it was until my third trip to the ER when my obgyn did a vaginal exam and checked the cervix. Or it could be that your placenta is too low. What color is the bleeding and how long does it last.

    perhaps the bleeding is unrelated. I've had pretty bad cramping the past week or so and I was concerned until I narrowed it down to gas pain!

    I swear, it feels like uterine cramping though. I do have history of IBS...do you at all?

    Good luck, sounds like little one is happy and healthy though, so that is very good.

    The bleeding is always dark, not lite pink, which they are really happy about.. And ive never been diagnosis with IBS. I hope it clears up soon. Thanks for the input guys.
