NBR: Recommend your favorite drugstore products

Now that I'm going to SAH, I am going to have to give up my expensive shampoo, lotions, and face products.

So, what are your favorite drugstore products? Shampoo & conditioner, body lotion, face moisturizer, etc.

Re: NBR: Recommend your favorite drugstore products

  • Shampoo: I use Herbal Essences for colored hair. Conditioner too.

Lotion: I use the Aveeno Skin Relief Moisture Cream and I love it!

Moisturizer: I again use Aveeno with an SPF 15. I don't remember which exactly it is but it's the one that helps with blemishes. It's got a mint green cap/pump on it.

6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM 7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle! 9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end. • Shampoo and conditioner are Suave.  I use the Almond and Shea Butter from the professionals line.  I've bought everything there is to buy, and this is my favorite.

I also use Aveeno for lotion.  I'm not as good with moisturizer as I should be, but I use Burts Bees undereye moisturizer.  It's great.

  • I use suave professionals Humectant shampoo and conditioners.  I use Cetaphil for facial moisturizer and nivea lotion for body.

  • I used to use Aveeno "Calming" face wash and lotion. However, this year I developed an allergy to it. Now I use the Olay line. Not the ProX (which is as expensive as anything you are now using)..Just the age defying. I love it.

I use bath and body works lotion (only when I get it on sale and it is like 4 for $20.00 or whatever.

Shampoo, I still use the expensive stuff

  • I really like the Suave line.  I was a skeptic until I needed to find a different shampoo.  I used the expensive stuff..  and it left my hair oily by noon.  Switched to Suave?  Haven't had the issue since...  I don't even have to do the baby powder thing if I skip a shower one morning.  I also love how it leaves my hair looking in general (beyond the oil issue)
