Argh, Why no AF? (Just a Rant)

So I stop my BCP on Thursday with the intent to start stims on Monday and my period decides not to show up this weekend. I went ahead on Friday and scheduled the baseline for Monday morning (since I needed it early morning due to work) and had to call the weekend nurse this evening because there's no CD1, much less CD2 or 3. She says to keep my appointment, but to expect it to take longer while they figure out what's up in my ute.

So I get to play phone tag and try to make sure someone is on hand to handle the toddler triplets I babysit -a task that somehow doesn't have volunteers lining up around the block. They are delightful boys and I love the time I get to spend with them though. Which turns out to not be as much of a problem as I thought (BIL is on vacation and can herd the kids for a while) but SIL tells me to think calm and relaxing thoughts. To find my zen happy place. (Which is not the same "relax" as a fertile who doesn't understand- it's the relax from a been-there-done-that IVF survivor)

This is not my happy place. Being up at 1am and fretting about my missing period when I have to be up at 7 to be poked and prodded is not my happy place. I think I'm going to take two benedryl to knock myself out... but everyone else is asleep and I needed to rant a bit.

    I am sorry:( Sending lots of good vibes your way that AF shows up SOON!
    IUIs #1-3 (1x unmedicated, 2x Clomid) = 2 BFNs, 1 m/c at 7w3d
    IUIs #4-6 (injects) = 3 BFNs
    IVF #1 = BFN
    FET #1 = BFN
    FET #2 = BFN
    IVF #2 = BFP, b/g twins lost at 20w due to partial abruption/PPROM
    IVF #3 = c/p 5w2d
    Long-shot Clomid/Prednisone cycle before next IVF = BFP, our beautiful, healthy girl born 6/26/13!

    TTC again March 2014
    FET #3 - May/June 2014     -     all embryos arrested before xfer - back to the drawing board...

    Rant away, darlin!!!  AF can be such a witch!! Shows up when we don't want her. and the few times we need her.. she's no where to be found!  So frustrating, I know!  It's happened to me before!  Definitaly take those benedryl and get some sleep.. I remember you saying you will have a very busy Monday!  I'm sure if you wear light colored pants, she will show up during your meeting! 

    I hope she shows up soon and you can get your show on the road!

    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    I fully subscribe to the white pants logic...I hope she shows her ugly face soon and that things went well this morning!

    AF can be a BIG jerk.  I am sorry you are having to deal with this and all of the other IF joys.  I really hope she shows up soon.  ((hugs))

    And the good news update- the doc says my lining is good to go without a period so I may luck out of one this time around. Waiting for the blood work, but my blood work is usually fine so stims tonight! Yay! Thanks ladies :)
