  we tried the cereal and dd hated it so we just went for the yellow/orange veggies and she loves them.  We have done sweet potatoes and butternut squash and we can't feed her fast enough.  Cereal is basically a filler and dd really doesn't need any more filler so we are sticking with the veggies and her formula

  I'm starting DD on solids in the next couple weeks.  I'm planning to skip cereal.
