the girls got evicted

from our bedroom last night....we got the crib divider and the breathable bumpers in the mail this weekend so DH made the decision.. I didn't like the idea at all..I wasn't ready for it!  But DH is such a light sleeper, he wasn't getting any sleep at all because the babies make a lot of noises in their sleep. Well..It actually wasn't bad at all.  I slept really well, and I didn't get up to check on them unless they were crying!  I think they like their new room :).

  • A) I'm glad the transition went smoothly. I know when DD started sleeping in her own room, I was literally amazed at how much better I slept and felt, and I hope you get some great rest between feedings.

    B) I want a clone of your DH. My DH never woke up! One night he told me he'd do the 3 AM feeding to "help me out"... when she started stirring, I had to elbow him a dozen times to get him up, then he walked over, looked at her (at this point she was screaming - I would've had her half fed by now), and got back in bed. I started yelling and jabbing him, and he rolls over and says, "Oh, is it time to feed her? I haven't heard her cry yet." He didn't even remember getting up and looking at her! lol Needless to say, his "help" wasn't very helpful and I ended up 500 times more awake and annoyed than if I'd just done the feeding myself : P (My DH is a really big help usually, just not once he's sleeping lol)
