Bummed that I got sucked into the Sophie craze

I thought $20 was a lot when I bought it, but I heard such great things about her. Well it has been 4 months and Jack wants nothing to do with her. Lesson learned never pay that much money for a dog squeak toy lol

Keep her close by. You've got more teeth coming and the further back they go, the more useful that long giraffe neck becomes ; )

If you have #2 they might like it. DS would not have been into it but DD has a love affair with her every day. She puts everything into her mouth and we haven't popped a tooth yet.

I'm in the "I bought it and my kid hated it....at first" boat. It took months for Mia to like Sophie, but when she started getting her molars at one year? Oh wow that thing got a TON of use.

Good to know -- Sophie got popular right after Kira went through that stage, and I wasn't sure whether to cough up the $ for Elena. I'm still debating, esp. in light of the other responses here, but thanks for sharing!

Bwahaha, funny you said dog squeak toy b//c my dog goes INSANE when I start squeaking Sophie! DD actually loves noming on her face & legs, so for me it was worth it. sorry your lil guy didn't take to it, I know it's disappointing to waste $$ like that.

Jake LOVED his Sophie. It became his best buddy in the car, in addition to a teething help.

This is why I never bought a Sophie. I have 2 dogs who would have thought it was their toy and I didn't want the fight. We used other toys and cold teething rings when Hayden was teething badly enough to need it.
