for your advice when I came on here a few weeks ago asking about medical records. I am an egg donor. Found out two days ago that the 4th family got pregnant! That is 4 out of 4 for me and at least one set got pregnant w/ twins (that's all my coordinator told me)!!
It's been about 9 months since I started this journey, so I suspect (hope) that one couple has delivered by now. I am so excited for all of them!! I got such a nice note from the last family, they said "we don't know you, but you made us so incredibly happy. Thank you!"
Anyway, I was getting rid of my leftover meds/needles (lots had already been turned in and/or tossed) and decided to snap a few pics. This is probably only 1/3 of what I did over the last 9ish months (4 donor cycles, 3 long lupron, 1 antagonist). I feel like it was all worth it. What started as mostly monetary (thought I'd do one cycle) has turned into something much more. I feel so lucky to have been able to give something that I wasn't using to someone that needed it so much. I don't have anywhere to share these pics or my story and even though you don't "know" me (some of you do know me under my real name), I felt the most comfortable sharing here.
BTW, all my levels/numbers were good!! Antral follicle count is 34, so now we will try for our own baby.
I promise I won't post again. Thanks for all your help!
Re: I know you don't know me, but thank you (PIP)
