Zwieback?

Do they still make Zwieback cookies? I haven't been able to find them or anything else like that for teethers? Am I losing it or have they been pulled from the shelves? I've looked two different places.

ETA: What are these Mum Mums? Are they teething cookies? Where can I get them?

    I dont think they make that exact cookie anymore but Nicholas has loved the Arrowroot cookies and there are biter biscuits (both gerber brand I think) and they both are great for teething. Nicholas also likes to chew on some celery when he is teething or hard carrot sticks-- now that he has more teeth he occasionally gets actual bites of the carrots or celery but a few months ago he could gnaw on them forever and they wouldnt break off.

    I jsut saw them on a shelf somewhere not that long ago, Jungle Jim's maybe, but I was shocked because I hadn't seen them in forever. They might have been with the crackers because I think the box calls them toast or crackers.

    i havent seen it around BUT i know there are recipes out there to make your own if thats an option. i know you like to cook!

    Confession: I like Zwieback and used to eat them as a teenager because I liked the taste. I would consider buying them as crackers if I ran across them in the store.

    Jen, I actually thought about that after I posted since I think I even saved a recipe for it. I think I just might try it! Great idea!

    Zwieback is from Germany and I usually see them in the cracker isle. I did see some in the baby section at Walmart.

     Not sure if they sell them here too but in Germany they also have Zwieback with coconut on top. Yum!!! I still eat it all the time.

    There was some kind of "toast" made by Gerber Graduates as recently as when Ava was about a year old and teething.  I really only shop at Kroger, so I'm sure that is where I saw it.  They also have those wagon wheels, which a lot of people use as a teething snack, but those things are rock hard and my girls always tossed them.  We've tried the Earth's Best teething cookies and they worked well.  Both of my girls also always liked Mums Mums, but I don't consider them a teething snack.  They dissolve very quickly (like Puffs) and I think their purpose is more of a starter self-feeder food.

    That's how I feel about the Mum Mum's too. They dissolve so quickly, I'm not sure if they help at all. I'll have to just keep looking. I shop mostly at Kroger also, sometimes Meijer.
