Real and adjusted age? I just would like to compare, even though I know that is a bad word! We are NOWHERE near showing signs of readiness, so I just wanted to know what others experienced.
We have been "practicing" since 6 months actual (3 months adjusted). I usually try once a day but sometimes not at all. It is not a source of nutrition for us at this point but the dr gave me the push to go ahead and start. Addy loves it but Abby could kinda care less.
We waited til 6 months adjusted (9 months actual). He didn't seem interested, and quite frankly, I didn't have the energy to start. He's still not especially interested, a month into it.

We started at 9 months actual (7 adjusted) My DS had some tummy issues so we waited per the G.I. doctor. DS was showing signs he was ready around 7 months actual.
We tried at 4 months adjusted (5 actual) but she wasn't interested so we tried again at 6 months adjusted (7 actual) still not really interested so we tried again a month later at 7 adjusted (8 actual) and she shoveled it down.

DS had really bad reflux with apnea so we started solids at 3 mths (1 mth adjusted) he took it like a champ it just took a lot of time to spoon feed him. Now he hardly wants the bottle. he's mostly interested in table foods.
