Pick the perfect outfit...
Okay, fashion savy trendy ladies, I need your help!!
I'm going to a bridal shower in the next few weeks. Typically, I would just wear a nice pair of dark wash jeans, sweater, and some heels or a pair of kakhis. None of our family showers are really dressy.
So, this shower that I'm going to is going to be uppity. I mean some of these women could be on the Real Housewives of Cincinnati. The bride is marrying my cousin. She is the nanny for these ladies - nannies for two families. The stories she tells are just down right amuzing. They hired her to take care of the kids, but they are hardly around to even parent. They are off shopping, eating lunches, working out, etc.
Anyway, I feel the need to go out and buy a new outfit. I don't want to impress, but I don't want to look like a slob either. I want to look put together.
So, if you could dream up your perfect outfit to wear to an afternoon bridal shower, what would you wear. Pictures, links, etc. would be great. I'm talking about a head to toe look.
Things to keep in mind. I'm curvy, have a j-lo butt, and DD boobs. I don't like to wear sleeveless because I have wings. Ha!
Okay - so go. Let's see some outfits. I need some inspiration.

Nope. I'm starting to splurge on clothes. I would rather spend $100 on a pair of pants that will last then to keep spending $30-40 every year on them. GWIM?

Yes, I definitely know what you mean. I agree, especially worth it when dressing PP bodies.

So many different choices there... You could do black pants with a fab top and get some kick ass red or hot pink (or yellow, purple, etc) heels to finish it. You could wear yellow or red shoes (really any color) with a fun necklace or throw a bright sweater over it and keep the shoes simple. You could also wear this for work and depending on the material, throw a cute pair of flip flops on with it.
