I'm sooo terrified...I have been getting by with just filing them...but I had my mother cut them. Stupid question but does anyone have any advice on cutting those little bitty nails. Thanks

I hate doing them too! But I try to do it when she's asleep so that she doesn't squirm as much! I clipped a little skin on her thumb and she SCREAMED and I felt so bad, but she got over it pretty quickly. And try not to do it right after a bath because they're already soft nails are MORE soft after the bath ( obviously).
Those are my tips.. hth!

I often have DH do it while I'm BFing. She doesn't even notice. Just hold the skin back with one hand and clip. Also, stating the obvious, make sure you're using baby clippers.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

I use cuticle scissors to cut ds's nails and it works wonderfully. I had a hard time using the baby clippers. It never seemed he'd hold still enough and when I looked online some sight suggested it.
