that the epidural won't be bad compared to the contractions I'll be feeling. I haven't been scared of it until now. I go in for my induction tomorrow and am all of a sudden terrified. I cry at the drop of a hat! Let's all keep in mind that I have an incredibly LOW pain tolerance.
Re: Someone tell me..
same here! Good luck with everything! Hope it goes smoothly and quickly for you so you can hold your precious little baby. Epi or no epi, pain or no pain... it will all be worth it!!
Woman are you crazy?!?! The epidural saved my life! Since my water broke at 10:15pm, and I was only at a 2, they gave me ambiem and stadol. The stadol made me freaking INSANE. I thought I was out of my mind, and I couldn't sleep at all! By 4:30, the contractions were crazy! I could not focus. I was exhausted and again...crazy from the stadol. The nurse kept telling me my contractions were not regular, and I was still at a 2. But honestly...something was NOT right. The pain was horrible. They finally gave me an epi, and holy moly! What a sigh of relief! And guess what?!?!? In that 15 minute time frame, I went from a 2 to 7!! And I got 4 hours of sleep!
