ch ch ch changes (long)

So as I posted earlier in the week, I was supposed to get a LAP on Thursday and I ended up getting the flu so it was cancelled (wa wa wa).  I am still not feeling great and I don't have my voice back and today I have an audition for a summer musical that I really wanted to do.  Theatre is the only distraction that really works. Now because I sound more like a mutant than an princess I don't know if I will get my role.  

Also I don't know when to reschedule my LAP.  I am going to Florida a week from Monday so I don't think I want to get it done this week just in case.  Which means DH and I are going to have to try naturally this month (funny, I know).  I am not that convinced that I have endometriosis.  I think the problem is more DH than me.  That is why I am giving DH two months of trying naturally and then we are moving on to IVF.  

Now, for those of  you who are in the IVF stage.  Should I go see an RE now about IVF even though I am not planning on doing it for another 2 months?  I don't know much about it, but my RE now does not do it so I have to go to another RE.  Thanks ladies for all your input.  You are all the best!!!

    go ahead and see RE. IVF takes 6-8 weeks! If they choose to put you on a long suppression, you may need to start soon to get to egg retrieval in ~6 weeks.

BFN IVF #4 ER 8/22 9R,7F ET 8/25-3 embies, 1 frostie! Beta 9/2= 54, 9/6=274, 9/8=625, 9/12=2953, 9/16 greater than 10,000. B/G TWINS born April 2012 @ 36wks & 1 day! July 2014-going back for the frozen embryo! ET 7/28, heartbeat seen at 6wks1day with SCH. Miscarriage confirmed at 6wks4days

    Yes definitely get an IVF consultation now. There are some screening tests you'll have to do prior to starting. It wouldn't hurt to start discussing protocol and get your questions answered.

    I would definitely call a RE to get an appointment.  Sometimes it can take a little while to get an appointment.  Good Luck!!

    Yes!!  Go now.  We went in for our initial IVF consultation in late October 2010 knowing full well that we weren't going to cycle until January 2011.  We didn't want the stree while travelling over holidays.  There is a lot of work up with will have to be done prior to IVF.  You can start that now so you will be good to go in a couple of months.  Good luck!

    I would switch. Your new RE may want you to do further testing or may need to add you to their schedule, plus you'll have to take an IVF class. I switched at the very beginning of March and won't start stimming until mid April or May depending on our protocol, and we are charging through all the required diagnostics.
