Leaving you....baby's here!

Hello ladies,

I didn't get to post much, but I was here every day of my pregnancy reading and learning.

Last Friday, I unexpectedly went into labor while at work. I had no idea it was labor, and so by the time I finished my work day and got to the hospital, I was fully dilated and ready to push! Less than an hour later, my baby boy Eli was here!

He was born at 30 weeks 2 days. 3 lbs 4 oz. He is in the NICU and probably will be for a while But he is stable and doing pretty well despite being so teeny.

Thanks everyone. A few people have commented on his good weight for such a young gestational age. I had just been diagnosed with GD, and it turns out that *may* have helped a bit in the weight department. Good thing I craved so many sweets lol

So crazy, Is It the full moon or what it sounds like everyone that's due in my is either on bed rest or going to be delivering early. I loved what you said about eating all the sweets that's so funny, but obviously what baby needed. Hope you get to see and talk to him a ton while hes in the NICU. Hope he gets out soon, and yes please update us all with the crazy details, so glad you and Eli are save and doing well
