I'm so confused about the 12/11 board

Why the heck are there so many people posting there who aren't pregnant? Do they just jump from month board to month board saying "I'm hoping to join you!" ??

It's a new problem since the Bump used to drag their feet on getting the newest month board up each month. I'm guessing someone got lazy and decided they didn't want to do that every 4-ish weeks, so now all of those months are there and people are using them.

I mean, I guess to each their own, but I give a major side-eye to the entire thing. Sounds like it's setting people up for disappointment. It creates an emotional attachment to a time/place that just is not healthy if these girls don't get their BFPs. There's a TTGP board (several, actually if you include TTTC, IF, etc) for a reason.

Haha! I was just checking out all the nonsense over there too. I remember a few women posting here about hoping to join the November board, but no one paid them much attention. I see at least one there that posted some junk about maybe having a "oops" and hoping to join here - seems like not such an oops afterall! WTF happened over there? It's like a battle zone.

I head to peek over there to see what the fuss was about. It just made me shrug...

I did think the post to Dec 2011 mommies from the Dec. 2010 board was sweet and useful - check it out for good tips!

I actually think that the people who are raining on their parade are the questionable ones. We all dream about having babies in a certain month. We all hope that THIS will be the month. Its really hurtful to be so mean to those girls especially when we have tickers (well I didn't add a ticker yet but I'm having another November baby ) I'd probably want to punch someone in the face who had a ticker and made fun of me for hoping to have one soon.

The buffoonery there is ridiculous. They've turned the board into a farce. But I enjoyed the tips from the Dec 2010 moms.

I agree with you. Do I think they have a shade of the crazies? Absolutely. But I'm not going to run over there and be nasty about it to them.

I had to go over just to see and It does not bother me it is none of my buisness I am where I belong and that is all that matters to me. It does seem like they got their first REAL BFP over there though.
