Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Question on RF jumperoo

I was debating getting one of these but when I looked at it in the store it looked like it was set pretty high off the floor. I was in a hurry so I did not get a chance to look at the box to see how it works. How old does the baby need to be before they can use? I am assuming that the weight of the baby is going to bring it down closer to the floor, right?

Re: Question on RF jumperoo

  • My daycare has this and DD loves it, she's 3 1/2 months old. It also had 3 adjustable settings so it grows with them.

  • There are 3 height settings. Right now we have it on the lowest setting and DS can touch the floor with his toes. He weighs 15 lbs, he just started using it last week. There isn't really an age or a height requirement they just need to have good head control.

  • It has 3 height settings. DS started using it at just under 4 months, but was still a little short, so we put a towel underneath for him ... worked perfectly.  :)

  • DS is tall (27 inches at 4 months) and he can barely touch on the lowest setting.  We had to put something underneath him so he can jump.

FWIW, I was really excited to get it for him because he loves to jump and seems to enjoy the exersaucer at daycare, but he doesn't use it as much as I thought he would.  It took him a while to figure out how to jump, and I think the toys are a little overwhelming for him or something because he doesn't want to stay in there very long.  I hope he'll enjoy it more as he gets older.
