How long will your dr. let you go...41 or 42 wks?

Just curious how long your doc will let you go past your due date. I will not even get my first ultrasound or NST until 41 weeks and then they will still let me go a more week! I can mentally handle going until this Friday, but I just don't know how I will get through it after that!! It seems like a lot of other docs induce at 41 wks.

I'm with midwives but can go to 42 if all is well.

42 weeks unless there is a medical reason to go earlier or if I request to be induced for comfort

41.5 weeks. My doctor said she was fine with me going past 41 but didn't want me to make it to 42. I am going in to be induced Thursday at midnight, so basically friday... I will be 41 weeks 3 days.

I won't be allowed to go past 41. Little man is measuring big anyway- so that's fine with me.

Induction scheduled for Thursday, which is 41 weeks. I didn't even want to wait that long. The practice I'm at doesn't go past 41, but I know someone who delivered with the same practice 4 years ago, and they let her go until 42. They have since changed their policy.

My doctor encourages 42 weeks. However, since I had GD and getting super uncomfortable I was sorta induced at 40 weeks 4 days. And had a 9 pound baby... However, all we got through was the cervix ripening medication, then I slept and water broke in the middle of the night. She might have some on her own that day anyway - I was having contractions when I showed up to the induction.

3 successive sweeps every two days starting at 40 + 5 and then a full induction at 41 + 5, as they don't want to go past 42. Not looking forward to having to go through 3 sweeps to get to induction though.
