s/o breast pads

What brand do you guys use?  I used Lansinoh first but they were really big on my not-so-huge boobs (I'm probably a 34C these days).  So I switched to Johnson and Johnson and while they're sized better for me, they stick, which can be painful when removing.  I try to peel them off gently, but sometimes it's hard when DD is hungry and crying.

Re: s/o breast pads

  • my reusables stick but lanolin has helped them from sticking.

  • I use the cloth ones because they feel softer on sore nipples, I forget which brands.  If I let the boobs air-dry for a minute before covering them up they don't stick.

  • I got some free ones from my local WIC office when I was still EBF and liked them better than the brand I previously used. The new brand was Medela(same one that makes the breast pumps). I also got a Medela pump and Medela nipple cream. The breast pads had a spot on the back that stuck to my bra but never stuck to my nipples which was nice. Plus, they seemed to hold more than the other ones before leaking. Which was good for when LO slept almost all night cause then i wouldn't wake up with a soaking wet shirt and bra.

  • Just don't get the evenflo nursing pads. They are HORRIBLE, hold maybe an ounce of milk. Well, if you don't leak much they're fine, but they aren't contoured either so they look funny in your bra. Unless you wear padded bras. But they still stick anyway. I guess that's 3 for 3.

    Anyway...

  • I have found the Lansinoh ones to be the best, im a 36c and they fit me fine and dont stick to me.... are you usung the rounded Lansinoh one's or the other ones that are more square shaped?

Whatever you do don't get the nuk reusable ones they are bulky and scratchy and show under your bra.

  • I use the Medela ones and I LOVE them. They don't stick, they are soft and I can't even tell they're there.

  • Simplesse Is the brand I use and I love them because of how thin they are. I don't feel like they show through my bra.
