He wants to be attached to me all day and it's making getting things done really hard. Anyone else have this issue? He wants to lay on my chest all day, he even gets upset if I try to lay him on his back to that I can talk to him and play with him.

I'll hold you in my heart until I hold you in heaven.
Get a moby and it will make everything easier. Just shove him in and go do what you need to get done.I got one when DS would not let me put him down at all. Saved me.
As far as not wanting to lie down when you talk to him, have you tried swaddling him in a blanket and lying him down? Maybe he is just getting cold since he doesn't have the heat from your body anymore or that secure feeling being pressed against you
She's ok if I just lay her down in terms of crying or whatever, but the last couple days she has to be either swaddled or lying on me in order to sleep. I get her sleeping nice and deeply, then lay her down so I can get stuff done, and bam, those eyes pop open. I have a moby wrap but I'm having a horrible time getting it on correctly so it hasn't been much help...she just lies there while I try to get the damn thing on right for 10 minutes, then I finally give up and just hold her some more. I'm thinking of getting a different kind of sling.
Have you gone online and watched their videos?
Those are what helped me the most, their directions in the actual wrap confused me more then anything.
Do you think she dislikes her bassinet? We have a bassinet and our LO did not care for it at all. He will sleep in the rock n play for hours but only 1 hour tops in the bassinet.... it is so useless it is now being used to hold his Pjs and swaddle blankets haha. Our LO does not care for the sleep sheep either. He is starting to like the seahorse and we also got this fisher price soothing projector for $20 at target that he is really into, it plays music longer and it also has ocean sounds and he falls asleep pretty fast to it. https://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Wonders-Take-Along-Projector-Soother/dp/B0028K2RN8
Not sure if it would help you too
Yeah, the instructions in the wrap are what confused me. Last night I ended up taking it to the specialty store where I bought it, and the lady who works there helped me immensely. I was doing it totally wrong. Success this morning! Yay!
Maybe she doesn't like it cause she does seem to sleep better in her rock n play as well. I might just have to get her that projector from Target. The seahorse works better than the sleep sheep and now that I switched her formula from Enfamil to Gentlease she seems to be sleeping a bit better. She still likes to sleep on me. We were considering getting one of those co-sleepers to put in between us in bed but they only hold up to 15 lbs and she is already over 8 so I'm wondering if it's worth over $40. I think for now I will just keep her in the rock n play and get that projector, even though BF's family thinks she needs to be in her bassinet so she can stretch out.
