so ladies this is just a little thing to see how many are willing to tell everyone there strange quirks, habits, etc.... i will start, i have tourette's syndrome so i twitch allll the time (seriously), from that i also have obsessive compulisive disorder, with that i count EVERYTHING!! it gets annoying lol if i am watching dishes and there is five plates, i have to go back and wash a clean plate to make it an even number of plates lol everything has to be even!! lol well that is my little weird thing.... anyone else want to share there "special" quirks?? (((((no judging others please this is only for fun))))

I play with my eyelashes when I am thinking or stressed. It weirds people out because they think I am poking myself in the eye. LOL

lol i would turn and look at them funny and say "what you dont do it?? i thought everyone did it" just as serious as i could and see what kind of comments you get lol

Ha I like to look at it in the mirror too... Because it looks funny! My husband likes to see it twitch too.

I have double jointed thumbs and fingers. I know that is a misnomer, my joints are essentially very mobile.

It's a great trick to pull out of my party hat when I need to get the student's attention Wink

I have really bad social anxiety. I have always been this way, and painfully shy, but I think with the lowered self confidence/ self worth related to the m/c's its only become worse. For example, I was in class the other night and the teacher said we were going to do a group project, and I had a momentary panic attack and desire to just run out of the room. Ugh.

When someone of authority gets mad or yells at me I just start bawling. I cant control it either. Its somewhat embarrassing.

I have pretty severe anxiety, I especially am afraid of canned biscuits and the sound they make when they open...and also elevators.

I can be very shy, but I love people..

I have an unnatural love for purple.

I am pretty badly bipolar with psychosis...so I have long talks with my Kitchen aid mixer, Maria and things that are not there if I don't take my meds.

Ok, this is really embarrassing but what the heck..

I like to rub my cold nose or cold ears with my fingers (like knuckle-cuticle area).... and even more than that.... I like to rub DH's cold ears. He hates it but he lets me Big Smile Embarrassed

And I pull my eyelashes when I'm stressed. I don't think DH has caught on to this yet lol

I count things, too! I count or divide things into even increments, like I'll divide up the number of window panes in different ways (2-4-6-8-10-12 or 3-6-9-12). Weird- I know, but there is nothing I can do about it. And (I can't believe I'm admitting this), I smell things. If I'm sitting on the sofa with a blanket, I'll sniff it. I always sniffed my stuffed animals growing up. Omg, I'm such a freak!

Me too! I live my life by smells. When my mom would go to my grandma's house, then come home, I'd be able to tell she was there because she smelled like my grandma's house.

I'm also a feeler. And it's everything. I feel clothes when I'm shopping, when I walk through JoAnn's I have to touch all the soft fabrics and part of my reasons for buying the puppies we got was that they are super soft. I love touching things.. Lol.

I am addicted to chapstick. I can't go more than an hour or two without applying. If I don't have it I can't stop thinking about it and my lips start chapping from licking them. All of my jeans have a worn spot on the right front pocket from where I usually keep it. I always have to know where my tube is or else I have to search for it until I find it. I've actually tried to break my addiction a few times before and I just can't do it! I have to have my chapstick!

I have a lots of anxiety related weird things, but one that sticks out: I have panic attacks when I go to grocery stores. I think it's because I worked at one and it was a HORRIBLE place to work at. But yeah...it's getting a bit better, but I won't go grocery shopping by myself, and try to avoid it unless my husband it there...he's good at calming me down.

I HATE the sound canned biscuits make - I can't stand popping them open. It's terrifying!

i have sensory integration disorder, ocd and add/adhd. having dirty hands and not being able to clean them has gotten me pretty darn close to an anxiety attack.

some days i cant tolerate rain, i cant be touched from behind by someone i dont know is there, i cant wear turtlenecks or anything snug around my neck, very ticklish, i HATE sock seams and mittens! face and teeth washing is distressful and if food has a gross texture i cant eat it, even if its orgasmically delicious.

now that all my dirty little secrets are revealed: i also cant stand being kissed! (hubs is a different story, we have been working on it for a few years)
