RP: Need recommendations to repair concrete walkway to our front door...

The concrete to the walkway to our front door is cracked, and we'd like to get an estimate to repair it.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to contact people via word-of-mouth vs looking up some random guy/company in the yellow pages.

    I'm not sure what part of town you live in. But I have a guy we used for the exact same thing about 2 summers ago. I had contacted several companies to give us an estimate- after they all no-showed. On my way to work one day in my neighborhood, I saw a guy working on a front entry/walk way a few streets over. I stopped and chatted- and he ended up doing ours a few weeks later. He doesnt work for a company- he just does side jobs by word of mouth. The neighbors had him do stamped concrete and it looked fabulous. We just had him do a patch essentially because we dont plan on staying much longer and didnt want to invest in the extras. If you would like his name & number, let me know.

    My DH does concrete work for a living and does side/odd jobs all of the time.  He put in a new driveway for my cousins, a patio for my aunt and uncle and extended my parents driveway. He has also put in a new patio at our house.  Let me know if you want his info!

    We used Jaeger Concrete Solutions for a new set of stairs and a knee wall at my house in Reading.  They did a great job and they were the least expensive quote we got.  If you email me at shyntruecincy at aol dot com, I can send you before & after pics.
