i am eating saltines and surfing the net. dh is working at his part time job and ds is asleep. i feel like i should take advantage of the alone time, but i am bored.
boys are asleep, dh is at a hockey game, I'm home with the dog, bored. I'm waiting for the dryer to stop so I can go to bed. But while I'm doing that, I'm watching a really old Grey's Anatomy episode, eating pretzels dipped in melted chocolate and peanut butter. So not what I need to be doing.
I'm waiting for my incredibly time-intensive lasagna to bake now (it's only almost 7 here, but still, I started at 5!). I need to make a salad b/c it became obvious to me that it's going to be kind of a heart attack on a plate (5 cheeses!!).
After that, we'll give DD a bath and put her to bed, then I'll likely make hamantashen (tomorrow is Purim, a Jewish holiday) and knit, maybe watch a movie with DH, if DD lets us. Last night sucked (she was up constantly!), so we'll see.
And MMMM pretzels dipped in melted chocolate and peanut butter!!

I'm catching up on here and researching convertible car seats. Oh and listening to DS talk to himself in his room....still. I put him down for bed over a half hour ago! So I'm trying to be decently quiet so he falls asleep.
I am surfing the net... not finding anything particularly interesting. *Kinda* wishing the full moon was helping the baby come, lol...
We ate pizza and made chocolate chip cookies - I will most likely eat several more of them with a glass of cold milk and then try to go to sleep. Gotta rest while I can, I guess!
Just finished Glee, a marathon feeding session with DS and my own dinner. Wondering if DH will get DS down to bed - if so, I'll probably knit for a bit and then head to bed myself. Oh - also wanting chocolate after all the posts about it today.... :P

H just left for his house. He brought the kids back around 9:30 tonight, and asked if I could rub his right shoulder (he's having shoulder surgery next month for torn cartilage, and he still insisted on shooting a bunch today). I rubbed it, and he started talking about us. Basically, he's looking forward to attending marriage counseling together and fixing things. Not us, *things*. Which, to me, if we fix our issues, we are fixing a big chunk of us. So, win!
And then, just before he pulled out of the driveway, he grabbed me, kissed me, and said I love you.
Now I'm sitting here, with a watery grin and feeling hopeful.
