I EBF.
I am proud of my daughter's weight gain, she is 10 lbs today, up from 6 lb 1 oz at birth five weeks ago.
I'm happy that we can BF so easily.
I write about this in my mommy blog.
My mommy blog is connected to my Facebook. If any of this offends you, block me.
I will not be ashamed of feeding my daughter.
Re: I will not be ashamed
It's hard, because I really like the individual who acted offended by my post exclaiming how happy I was that my baby could grow so well from breastfeeding, but I refuse to apologize. If my post had been about how happy I was that she could grow so well from formula, he wouldn't have thought twice, and I don't think that's fair. I'm feeding my baby the best food in the world, food made specifically for her. That shouldn't make me feel ashamed! I'm only just becoming comfortable with the thought of NIP and talking openly about how I feed my daughter.
(PS, I have nothing at all against FF and she will get some formula in the coming weeks at DC)
Plus, with him, I can never tell if his comment is serious or sarcastic. So I just said something equally as vague and then "PS - if you don't like my posts from tumblr (aka my blog) you can block them, if they really offend you."

hmmm.... i'm lost
Earlier in the day my status had been "The baby ate my brain."
So the comment on my blog post was "The baby must really have eaten your brain for you to post something this offensive."
The commenter, as I kind of suspected, was just joking around but he could very well have been serious - so many people are offended by breastfeeding. It irked me.
