Bloat after ER...

...is way worse than bloat during stims! I look like I am 4 months pregnant and am so uncomfortable. I started PIO injections on Wednesday night and ET is scheduled for Sunday. Is it normal that bloating is worse now??!!

Re: Bloat after ER...

  • A nurse told me the follicles can fill back up with fluid, which can result in additional bloating. I was really bloated around ET but it has gone down a lot. (I'm 6dp5dt).

  • Yes. This happend to me with IVF #1. I was told the follies fill back up with fluid and make you bloat up.  I was told to drink a lot of electrolytes and pee a lot.

I don't like gatoraide, so with my last cycle I drank a lot of coconut water, smart water and sobe life water, and my bloating was soo much less.

So drink up and pee pee pee!!!!!!  Good luck!

  • Yes, it is very normal forthe bloating to be worse after ER. Mine lasted a few days before I started feeling normal again.

We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And HOPE does not dissappoint.
