That was not fun (night weaning update)

2 hours of on and off crying from 11-1 and another bit around 4. But I didn't give in and nurse. We use the Ferber method for responding to crying, last night DH had to do the bulk of the going in. That's the most he's ever had to do in the middle of the night.

Tonight will be better, right?

UGH i feel for you!! we did this at 11.5 months and it was NOT FUN AT ALL.

BUT, it sure is fun being able to get more than 4 hours of sleep at a time!

Night 2 was a repeat of 1 for us- if not a little worse, to be honest. Night 3 was still rough but easier on us all. I believe by night 4, she was STTN and not needing a bottle.

I hope so! Superaunt might be right though. It might be a little more of the same for the nest couple of nights. Just because it's been a lot longer. But, then....the light at the end of the tunnel... STTN! Happy, happy, joy joy!! Keep your eye on the prize!

This is what we experienced. Good luck and as the pp said - it'll just be a few days and then STTN!!!!
