Riddle OBGYN

Going for my first appt tomorrow!  We have been seeing our fertility doctor since day 1 and we were discharged on Monday from his care!  Although I'm upset I won't see them every week I'm excited to graduate and move on to our OBGYN. 

 

What should I expect for my first appt?  I am 8wks pregnant...

    Every doctor's office is different, or so I hear so here is what happened at mine.

    I had to leave a urine sample so they could test for sugar and what not...

    Then I went into the exam room where I had to dress in a sheet and paper robe.
    Then when the doctor came in, he did a basic annual exam complete with pap smear (if it's been a few weeks or less since your actual annual exam then this specific step may not be necessary).
    Then the doctor did my ultrasound (internal) to find the baby.  He took pictures and gave me one and calculated the exact due date and measurement...
    Then I checked out of his office and gave about 30 pints of blood for all kinds of tests.

    Again, this may differ a bit.
