Yesterday was my due date - it was also Kevin Patrick's first St. Patrick's Day (that alone is a huge deal in my family). My husband and I baked 300 cookies and distributed them to the NICU staff in these cute little boxes:

When my husband went to drop them off at 6:30 am yesterday (in order to catch the 7am shift change) he'd found that the night nurses had been busy:

And I celebrated by ordering his car seat (since the Social Worker scared the crap out of me by asking if I was prepared for him to come home next week! Nope, and that ended up being a miscommunication but he'll be home sooner than I think).
Re: AW: Big NICU Celebration! PIP
Our CPR training is tentatively scheduled for April 5th so it's possible he could be home that Friday - eek! Three weeks from today.
That's great news!!!!!
Wow. Can my babies move to your NICU!? Pretty sure that (st. patty's sign) would never happen at ours...well, all the babies did get a shamrock on their isolettes, but I asked for a green bow for DD like 30 times to no avail....
Maybe I need to bake more cookies!?
