How do you manage your bump posts?

Crazy question, i know. but, i'm going to play the "im new card"
Somedays I feel like I check a few boards and then sometimes stay in one thread or on one board.
example, If I am lurking on Health & Exercise and I want to comment should I post an intro 1st? Do all the other boards want an intro? and then after a post Do I just keeping going back and checking on my posts all day?
What have you girls found to be the most efficient use of your Bump time?

I have wondered this too! I love the Bump so much more than facebook just because most the gals here are in the same place I am, but I do wish we got "notifications" when someone responds to our posts or something we say.

This, exactly! It would make it so much easier. I don't really think there is a simple way of going about keeping track of everything here... I wouldn't expect TB to get that advanced here until they can handle simple things... like being able to delete your Countdown after you've had a loss.......cause lord knows that has been a hassle for many!!

I think half the time I spend on here is tracking down the posts I posted to to see if someone else has posted since I posted. (Wow, that was a lot of posted's.) I know I could go through my profile to where it says the number of posts I've made, click on that, and go to each individual thread...but I feel like that would take just as long...AND I would miss all the new posts in between.
What happens when you click "follow this thread" at the top? I've always been afraid to click that...
I feel like tB is totally stuck in the early '00s with their chat/message board technology.

The follow thread link doesn't really do anything, it just brings up the one's you are "following" Agree about the PM's and paging. It makes us all that dont get paged feel so un-cool haha.

I have done this, I guess basically it just keeps all the things you are "watching" in one little area so you can go back, say like if you had posted on 4 threads and you click that on all of them, they will just all be listed there for you to go see whats happening with them. basically it just saves you from having to back through all the pages to find a thread.
