Does jewelry change your skin color durng IVF?

Over this last cycle I have noticed that my wedding rings are turning my finger black throughout the day. This has never happened before, and I've been wearing these rings for almost 7 years.

Does this happen to anyone else during an IVF cycle?

    YIKES!!! I've never had this happen to me.. but it will be interesting to hear if this happened to anyone else!!!

     

    Renee- 37 DH - Chad - 39
    2/06 - surprise pregnancy - twins
    3/06 - m/c 1st baby at 6 weeks 
    5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    FWIW, I totally saw someone post about this on the board a few months ago, and I think they figured out it was the hormones.  How strange!  Also, I'm a fellow Northern Virginia gal...so howdy, and I hope you are enjoying today's awesome weather!

    Two C/P and Lots of Tests
    Me = LPD + cancer survivor, DH = low count and morphology
    IUIs #1-5, January 2011 - June 2011 = BFN
    IVF #1 in July/August 2011 = BFP!!!!!

    Have you recently had your iron checked?

    A friend of mine has this problem with gold when her iron is low.

    Trying to conceive #2 since May 2006. Started IVF in 2008; IVF #1 cancelled (poor responder); IVF #2 cancelled (poor responder); IVF #3 BFP (MC day 26); IVF #4 BFN; IVF #5 BFN; Vas Rev Jan 2010 - azoospermia to date; DS IUI October 2010 - BFN; IUI November - Cancelled --- BREAK from November to March (on DHEA)(FSH from 15 to 5)(AMH 0.1, no chamge) --- FINALLY --- DS IUI March (19th) - Beta 4-5 (16dpo) = BFP (205)!!!! --- Beta #2 4-7 (18dpo) = 477 BFP!!! --- 7-11-11 IT'S A BOY!!!!
