Ok, so I'm in a dilemma. DD is only 18months old and most of her "baby" stuff is still in good condition and gender neutral, so we can use that for DS when he arrives. Yay.
However, we have a quite girly stroller/travel system (yes, I know, stupid, but we were excited to be having a girl at the time!) I'm wondering, should I buy a more masculine cover to go over the car seat. You can get them off Etsy, Amazon, etc for between $50-$90. I am just wondering if it's worth it, or should I just let him ride around in the girly car seat.
This is the pattern of the car seat.

Day Three
Funny that you say this, because at first I was all like"yeah lets get a new one!" and then it kind of fizzled out...The other day DH said, "did you ever order a new car seat cover? I don't want D riding around in the other one."
::sigh::
I'm cheap, so I didn't. My DD is carried around in a grey carseat with baby blue in it. Oh well.
I don't think that pattern is too terrible for a boy, especially since it has blue/green in it. I wouldnt personally.
Ditto this - that pattern has both blue and pink, so I would just leave it. If it had pink flowers or something, then I would get a new one!
My DD is also in a blue and grey car seat...I just put a bow in her hair and people know she is a girl.
I'd spring for a new cover.. it does have two shades of pink in it!!!
I'll have the same dilemma with some things.. so funny how I don't mind blue for my DD, but will not put my future DS in pink!
Can't believe I feel this way, I know that it is totally a double standard.
