We both loved the name Isabella for a girl...until Twilight came out, and now the name is everywhere, and we refuse to give our girl such a common name. So back to the drawing board.

We pick 3 name combos we like and then wait to "meet" the baby before deciding the final name. Our three girl name combos are:
Natalie Rose, Margaret Josephine (Maggie Jo), or Eleanor Rose (Nora Rose)-- I've always been partial to Natalie and its a running joke with my friends that whoever has the first girl gets dibs on that name but lately I've been REALLY liking Eleanor (after my dads mom) and Rose (after my moms mom and my middle name)...I dunno I just think Nora Rose sounds cute together
For boys the name combos we have are: David Aaron and Henry Neil (after his grandpa and my late grandpa) and we will have to come up w/ a 3rd combo since we went with Nicholas James when DS was born :-)
We have had our future baby girl name picked out since before getting engaged. For a Girl Bryn I also really love the name Amelia.. I havent found any boy names (besides Sebastian which my dh isnt fond of) that I am in love with yet! Love reading all of the phantom baby names
For a boy: Matthew, Beckett, Davis or Bennett with the middle name Earl, after my father who passed, are the top 4 boy names.
For a girl: Our top choice is Eleanor Grace, but it is getting so popular we may have to change, my 2nd choice but dh isn't 100% on board is Georgeanna Hazel, Hazel was my great grandmother. (Georgie) I think sisters Charley and Georgie would be cute!
Other top first names on our list: Willa, Audrey, Claudia, Lydia and Alice
Girl: Elizabeth Isla and we will call her Betty after my amazing grandmother.
Boy: Harrison Ernest. The middle name is H's father's name, and while I am not in love with it I'm letting him win this battle because FIL is awesome and also because I picked the girl name.

Harrison Earl was our boy name in stone the first time around.
I LOVE Betty. I know a little Betsy too, which is adorable. Neither of those you see much these days. Very cute!
We have a boy name (William Paul) - at least that's the boy name I want, I think DH is a bit more up in the air, but its after our grandfather's so i'm keeping it, ha.
Girl's name is more of an issue. I love Harper but H thinks its too trendy but its always been one of my favorites. I also love "A" and "E" names - so Abigail, Ellie, emily, etc.

I think it will be Lucy and Charlie for us. I've always loved Lucy and DH's gpa was named Charlie.
I recently heard someone naming their son Otis and I thought it was the cutest, but DH...not so much
For a boy: William Hayden (h's and my middle name) nn Liam
For a girl: Lillian still working out the middle name. Keep going between Vernice (my grandmother) Hayden, Greer or Mary (h's grandmother)

If we have a boy, we name him Tyler (and call him Ty for short).
DH and I don't agree on girl names though. For some reason I love girl names that end in "LYN"! Kailyn is my pick if we have a girl.
