Hey everyone! I had an iui on the 5th, and AF would be coming tomorrow, but I have no cramps but still have the "it's about to be here feeling". Is that something that could be connected to pregnancy? I usually have cramps the week before AF but not this time. I've been nauseous since the night of the 15th and the 16th had a 101.3 fever, dry heaves, and sore muscles. Today I'm just nauseous. I took an EPT this morning and there wasn't even a faint line. Basically I'm just being crazy and need some reassurance either way!
Re: Making myself crazy.
IMHO it sounds like you might have caught a bug.. ? I know for me sometimes if I am really bad sick with a temp it can throw my AF off.
Im sure the other ladies will have more input for you though
Feel better!
Best wishes!

You can really pysch yourself into feeling pregnancy symptoms. There is no way to no for sure except with a pregnancy test. In addition, if you're not charting your basal body temperature, there's no way to know when you ovulated. You might have a late ovulation this cycle (it happened to me this cycle, see My Ovulation Chart below).

I have no advice for you, but I can relate!
CD29, but I think I ovulated around CD16. Queasy on and off all day since Tuesday. EPT yesterday (CD28) BFN.
No spotting or cramping which I usually have before AF.
I've decided my body is cruel and likes to torture me, giving me lots of false hope so I am COMPLETELY crushed on CD1.
I'm not out yet, but I feel like I will be any time now. Here's to hoping our symptoms are real!
If the test was negative, you aren't pregnant. Keep testing every few days until a + or your period.
Sounds like the flu. Hope you feel better!
I have made myself feel that every twinge, nauseous feeling, sore boobies, etc is a sign of pregnancy...and each and every month I have ended up disappointed. They are called phantom symptoms and when you are TTC it can drive you to the brink every month lol.
Hopefully you will have more answers soon!
IUIs can cause some "unusual" cramping. I wouldn't worry too much about it. You're not out until your period shows. Also, are you on a progesterone suppository (sometimes they prescribe these after a medicated cycle)? That can cause AF like cramping for sure.
P.S. If you did a medicated cycle, put down the BBT, your temps will be off as a result of the meds.
ETA: Based on your other symptoms it sounds like you may be coming down with the flu so by all means, take your temp if you feel "feverish", just don't try charting or reading into your temps as they relate to your cycle.
