Concern About Follicle Size

I am completely confused by my RE's instructions. I am CD10 and have two follicles that are between 14-16. I was going to go in for another U/S tomorrow, but the nurse called back and said the RE wants me to continue the Menopur until Monday and come in then for another U/S and IUI will most likely be Wednesday. This makes no sense to me because those follicles will be huge before Wednesday. Am I correct in being concerned about this?

Last cycle at CD10 they were only at an 11 at this point, and we did IUI on CD15. It doesn't make sense to me why when they are larger earlier on, we would still do IUI CD15. Indifferent

    Did you ask them about your estrogen levels? Maybe your estrogen is not high enough. GL!

    I was about to say the same thing!  I would call back and ask about this.

    My follies sometimes only grow 1 a day, so that would put you in the right size by next Wednesday if you're a slow stimmer.  Ditto PPs on getting information regarding the blood levels.  Good luck next week!

    I think your follicle size will be perfect by Wednesday. My RE doesn't consider a follicle mature till 20mm with a medicated cycle and follicles grow 1mm a day on average.
