mom to mom sale question

so i saw there's a big one tomorrow at troy athens hs, and since i'm relatively new to the m2m concept, i was wondering...

if it's at a high school, does that mean the stuff will be targeted more to older kids? i like the bigger m2m sales, but i don't want to waste my time (and my dollar) if there won't be anything age appropriate there.

and if it is still baby stuff, has anyone been to this particular one? is it any good?

    Where the sales are located has nothing to do with the items sold. It is all baby/kid related at the sales.

    This. I went to the one at Athens this fall and it wasn't very good. No idea if the spring one will be better.

    You never know what you will find. Some times you get good stuff; sometimes you don't. If you want the large items though, you need to get there at least an hour early. 

    People stand in line to get to the large items first.

    I'm finding its hit or miss.  You just don't know what you're going to find size wise or quality wise.

    The one last weekend at St. Thecla (which everyone raves about) was not a good fit for my needs (newborn stuff).  I didn't find anything at all and I was there when it first opened.  Left that one and went to a different one out by Lakeside and found lots of stuff. 

    I think you just have to go and try it.

    TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages. Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011. VOTE on my Name List Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    I went to Troy Athens one last fall and i heard it wasn't very good on big items but i still bought a swing, bobby pillow and a ton of new girls clothes.  So its probably a hit or miss, why not check it out
