"MOTHER'S APRON"

4 years Post c-section and I'm finding the more I work out the worse my stomach flap gets.  I'm 5'1, 122lbs.  I work out 3 days a week, 30min elipital and 30 min row machine.  I carry my weight in my torso.

Has anyone else had this problem with the c-section flap getting worse the more exercise you do?  Any suggestions?

Re: "MOTHER'S APRON"

  • I am just about 6 months post emergency c-section.  My first pregnancy 9 yrs ago was a normal delivery.  That left me with a 'joey pouch' in my early 20's.  I'm back down into the 120's and find that my pouch is worse.   I work out a lot and rely a lot on my personal measurements.  I actually have a spreadsheet that I use to track my inches each month.  I think that once you burn off the fat in your belly you are left with the saggy skin and the only way to fix it is with sadly is w/ a Tummy Tuck, which I decided about 5 yrs ago and plan on doing down the road after I am done with having babies! But that option is not for everyone.  Check out www.realself.com to see other stories good and bad of ladies with similar stories to ours.  It's cool because they post pictures of before and afters of their tummy tucks etc.  Sorry I don't have better suggestions!
