Going in for induction tonight...

...and I'm so nervous it will fail because baby is still relatively high and my cervix is only a fingertip dilated! Eeeeek! However, I trust my doctor, and I'm still hoping to get through this pain med-free. Baby's been a little uncooperative lately, and my doctor is out of town next week (I know, I know...), but her colleagues who cover for her while she's gone are very pro c-section and she is not. We'd much rather give us a shot at induction while doc is here. She did say if it fails and my water hasn't broken, I can go home and wait for Mother Nature!

    Good luck to you! I am scheduled for induction next Wed night due to measuring big and dr not wanting me to go past 40 weeks. My LO is still high up and he stretched me to 1cm yesterday...I will be very interesting to see how this turns out for you since it sounds like we are in the same situation! I will be watching for your posts!!

    I'm scheduled for induction 6am tomorrow morning.  I'm so anxious. I didn't sleep at all last night and don't know how I'm going to get any work done today. Wishing us both productive and sucessful inductions!!
