sick or labor?

Not like anyone is up this early (or late) but I was just woken by my stomach gurgling (maybe gas?) and I had diarrhea-sorry if TMI.  Had a bit of the chills and just overall felt awful.  It was like a wave and now I feel better...but still kinda nauseous...the gurgling in my tummy scared me a bit because I cant tell if it's my stomach or something going on with the baby??  Maybe I am being paranoid?  ugh!

    I have had this too. I'm not sure if it is early early labor or not. I had it Sunday along with a pounding headache that Tylenol would not relieve so I went to L& D scared it was possibly preclampsia. They drew blood, took a urine sample, and hooked me up to the monitor. I was having some contractions (2 that were probably the biggest I had so far) but my contrax were not regular and my urine and bloodwork came back normal so they sent me home. Now tonight I had the same symptoms (nausea, stomach gurgling, diarrhea) plus some more contractions--but I *suck* at timing them. Plus, I had them from 1-2am then I was able to sleep and now they are back at 5am. I hope it's the start of something!

    I have read that you can get flu like symptoms closer to delivery.  Keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, I would call your doctor.

    going to the doc today so I will ask but I found out my DH is also not feeling so hot...possibly the hot wings we had!
