so is everyone jumping ship?
I think I'm staying here. I just don't have a need to join a private board, except to rubberneck at everyone else's stuff that they don't feel comfortable posting on the whole internet.

I haven't made up my mind.
I think that people were wanting to move temporarily so that Warrior could feel comfortable posting somewhere without the "rubberneckers", as you put it.

Like Emily said, I don't feel like I have the time to keep up with 2 boards.
I hope not. I love that I can check this board from my i-pod and I'm not sure if we could do that from the other one.
Plus I like to think that we are helping out lurkers who don't post for whatever reason by talking about certain things that you may not always have time to discuss with your friends, KWIM?
Not saying that it wouldn't be fun to share juicer gossip on this other board... now I'm trying to think of something good...
I am staying here for all the reasons mentioned by pp's. I also have been on another site that did something similar in creating a new board and it didn't work out the way the board admin had hoped. I don't want to take away from this board.
I think a separate board gives a false sense of security and privacy. If Warrior (or anyone else for that matter) wants to vent or feel safe talking about their issues I am happy to have her over for lunch or meet her for drinks where we can talk in person and give her the privacy she deserves. Because at the end of the day no matter how super secret the board is if it's on the internet it's not super secret.

It's rather liberating, actually.
I was driving down Isabella yesterday and I thought how we should get our oakley babies together!
I added my name to the list for the new board but only was going to go there if everyone stopped posting here. Seriously, I need this board when I have my milk supply freak outs. I think it increases my supply - which by the way was up to 8 ounces in my morning pump. The bump is like magic to my milk!
That's fantastic! It's crazy what [even a little bit of] extra stress can do to your supply. I'm glad you are feeling better, today.
That is awesome! It's insane how badly a little bit of stress can tank your milk supply. Hope it keeps up!

I didn't ask for anyone to start a new board, although I truly appreciate that anyone would go to so much trouble for little ol' me.

I post sometimes but wouldn't feel right going to a "super Secret board"...Maybe they are steering clear of light posters and lurkers but I just think that the web is still the web. No hard feelings but I will be here.. occasionally posting

I am staying here too. I can't see myself actively participating on another board. I just don't have the time. I am barely finding time to keep up with the ones I play on now. I like it here.
I am late on this one, but I am on another private board from when I lived in CT and its part of why I have a hard time keeping up on 2 boards.
People do feel a sense of security, but it really isn't any more secure. Some crazy stuff has happen to the people on the board that I am a part of and all of the information still is out there on the internet. Unfor. I think it creates a sense of security that really isn't there =(
This. I've got a 3 month old though, so I am not TTC, but I enjoy reading posts because someone usually has the same questions as me!
