So after doing nothing for 4 months...

The state has FINALLY scheduled an appointment for me on the 31st.  I don't know why it's taken so long to get the ball rolling but hopefully this is a sign that we're getting closer to getting some CS! :)  I'll take any baby steps possible right now...I was freaking out with my savings dwindling!

    oi good luck sister... going through the same thing... still waiting on the interview.. i only fear that this means the dad will  take me to court when child support is enforced. and im trying my best to keep my son away from that psyco

    Thanks!  My caseworker actually called the next day and I asked what I needed to bring with me and she said well it's to establish paternity...I freaked out!!  They finally found him and now hopefully this means it will be soon that CS is started!

    Does your LO's dad have the means to hire a lawyer and take you to court?  I know a lot of times it's all talk when they start threatening to take us to court so hopefully that's all it is for you.  Good luck!!
